Sonic Beating is sad to announce that this month's Psyforia has been canceled due to factors beyond our control. Apparently the hall is having some internal difficulties and can't host any events for the month of June.
We sincerely apologize and hope that we will be able to return in July. We will keep everyone informed as soon as we receive information from the hall.

I do not know the details and do not have first hand knowlege so I won't discuss what I have heard, but if you check the gnomefatty kollektiv tribe there is more discussion there...

Sun, July 13, 2008 - 6:31 AMThanks for the lead.... So i went to the SoulClap event last night. Damn I appreciate Psyforia so much! There was a $20 cover charge!!!!! and not the cheapest drink in town, they had an outside bar set up and it was SPONSORED by REDBULL! I should have known it was too well organized.
The music was good, didn't stay for the main act... couldn't handle the product placement in the VJ's work (which was otherwise really good). The crowd was pretty Euro (as is Eurotrash but I'm trying to stay positive here) - lots of tourists being like "wow, check out that girl, that's what a hippie looks like..."
Did meet a few really awesome people though - an older guy tried hooping ;-)
All in all, don't recommend it.
